Mr. Zeford Elkins was born October 20, 1941 to Horace ad Lytie Stubbs Burress. The angel of death came and took him away on August 19, 2025.

At an early age he joined the Sandhill MB Church.

Zeford was united in Holy Matrimony to Elsie Gean Billups Elkins. Unto this union three children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Lytie Stubbs Burress, his wife, Elsie Gean Elkins, daughter, Tarsha Elkins Jones, son Lovell Elkins, and brothers, Idell Stubbs, Bobby Stubbs, and Sonny Elkins one sister, Jean Elkins.

He leaves to mourn his passing, a devoted son, Phillip (Jodda) Elkins; sisters-in-law, Gloria (Jerry) Dalyrimple, Ada Randolph of Baldwyn, MS; Margaret Crump of Guntown, MS, and Emma Stubbs of Kenosha, WI; brothers-in-law, Joe W. (Stella) Billups, Milton Billups of Baldwyn, MS, and Willie W. Billups of Hattiesburg, MS; God Daughter, Zykerria Crump; seven (7) grandchildren, four (4) great grandchildren ad a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
