Willie B. "BB" Hasting was born on June 16, 1937, and departed this life on September 9, 2025, at the age of 88. BB was the beloved son of Roosevelt and Jessie Mae Hasting. He lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, happiness, and love. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

At an early age, he accepted Christ and became a devoted member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church, where he sang in the male choir. BB worked for many years with Hayes Construction and later with Illinois Central Railroad. He also served in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 56 years, Rozell Hasting; one daughter, Cheryl Hasting; two brothers, Willie Hasting (Annie) and Cleven Hasting; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Wayne and Robert Earl Hasting,
and his sisters, Mary Bridges, Lillie Hasting, Pearlie Beene, and Esther Anderson.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
