Shunetta Blanchard Smith was born November
29, 1978 in Lee County unto Mary Helen Tompkins
Blanchard and the late George Albert Blanchard.
She passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at
the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
She was united in Holy wedlock to Charles Eric
Montreal Smith Jr.
She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and
united with Mt. Zion M. B. Church. Throughout
her walk with Christ, she previously served on the
Usher Board.
She was employed at McDonalds as a store
manager for many years.
Shunetta leaves to mourn her passing; husband,
Charles E. Smith Jr.; one son, Kayden Jacob Smith
(KJ); her mother, Mary H Tompkins Blanchard; two
brothers, Vince (Eileen) Blanchard, of Alabama,
George Dexter (Shelia) Blanchard of Blue Springs,
MS; one sister, Ketra Hunt of Memphis, TN;
special aunt, Marsha J. Green; four uncles, James
Tompkins, Clifford Tompkins, Willie Tompkins, and
George Tompkins, and a host of nieces, nephews and
cousins
