Randy was a man who deeply loved his family and friends.

Mr. Otis Randle “Randy” Shelley was born July 10, 1956, to the late William Frank Shelley and Earline Shelley.

At an early age, Randy professed his faith in Christ and became a faithful member of Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained until his health began to fail. Randy was a man who deeply loved his family and friends. His life was centered around those he loved, and the relationships he built over the years became some of his greatest treasures. On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Randy peacefully departed this earthly life at his home.

He was a graduate of Wheeler High School. He united in holy matrimony to Sandra Shelley. He worked at Griffin’s Gin in Baldwyn, MS for many years, and was a farmer. He was the owner of Shelley’s cleaning service.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, William Frank and Earline Shelley, and three sisters, Betty Sue Shelley, Mildred Griffin, and Martha Harvell. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 43 years, Sandra Shelley; seven (7) children, Timothy Shelley (Bridgette) of Baldwyn, MS; Maggie Shelley and Athena Shelley of Saltillo, MS; Jeffery Shelley and Tiffany Shelley of Baldwyn, MS; Charleston Grizzard (Delores) of Rienzi, MS; and Justin Grizzard (Chandi) of Baldwyn, MS.

His legacy continues through his sixteen (16) grandchildren, Keeley Awwad, Vontae Shelley, Tyler Shelley, Xzardrain, Kylie Morris, Kambria Morris, Kazmen Grizzard, C.J. Grizzard, Devon Grizzard, Dyiamen Shelley, Janson Caldwell, Darrien Shelley, Ajina Shelley, Adalee Shelley, Reggie Miller, and Brailey Anderson. He also leaves eight (8) great-grandchildren: Trillion Beene, Khloe Billups, Chosen Penson, Maizie Gaston, I’Leigh Gaston, Helen-Mae Awwad, Londyn Buchanan and Bentley Morris.

Randy also leaves to cherish his memory his two (2) brothers, Frankie Shelley of Booneville, MS, and Jerry Wayne Shelley (Donna) of Baldwyn, MS; and his two (2) sisters, Alfreda Shelley and Willie Mae Wade both of Baldwyn, MS; mother-in-law Ester Young; and in-laws: Kenny Young, Wanda Young, Denice (Lanny) Shelley,  Anthony Young, Greg (Mary) Young and Robert (Gayle) Swinney. Randy shared a special bond with his special children: Misty Parks, Kee Nya Anderson, Jason McGaha, Timothy Foster, Tequita Miller, Tray Young, Rodney Ragin, and Audreanna Cristo. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
