Onie B. Freeman Hill was born October 2,
1955 in Lee County to Chink Freeman Sr. and
Loammer Beene Freeman. She departed this life
October 20, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical
Center in Tupelo, MS
She was a member of St. Paul United
Methodist Church where she was very active until
her health failed.
Onie attended George Washington Carver and
Tupelo High School.
She joins her sons in the Heavenly gates,
Quincy and Antwon Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving
granddaughter: Jaida Neville Hill (JJ) of Tupelo,
MS; her sister: Lois (Charlie) Stone of Tupelo, MS;
her brother: Chink Jr. (Shirley) Freeman of
Plantersville, MS; a special friend and caregiver:
Kay Beck and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
sons: Quincy and Antwon Hill; a sister: Helen
Wicks; a twin brother: Willie Freeman and three
other brothers: John Henry Freeman, Robert Earl
Freeman and James Freeman.
