Natasha R.
Agnew Dean
May 2, 1972 — Oct 30, 2024
But God will redeem my life from the grave, He will surely take me to himself – Psalm 49:15
Natasha adored her family and friends alike.
Natasha Agnew Dean was born May 2, 1972, to the late Dr. Jimmie O’Neal Agnew and Lucille Brown Hudson Agnew in Baldwyn, MS. She departed this life to be with her Snuggle Bunny, Janiya, and our Heavenly Father on October 30, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
Natasha was lovingly known as Sha, Tasha, or Mrs. Tasha. She loved her family, friends, and daycare staff and children. Natasha professed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined Bethel CME Church, where she remained a dedicated and faithful member. She was a Stewardess, Sunday School Teacher, and former choir member. To her family, she was the confidant, keeper of secrets, life of the party, and peacemaker. To say Natasha loved everyone she encountered is being modest. Natasha adored her family and friends alike. If she knew you, she touched your life in some way. She held her loved ones near and dear. She cared for you, doted on you, and everyone was a treasure to her. Everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her is better in some way or the other. She ended every conversation with everyone with “I love you”.
Natasha was wedded in holy matrimony to her best friend, Rodney on July 3, 2021.
Natasha was a 1991 graduate of Baldwyn High School. She attended Coahoma Community College and received her associates degree. She received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Delta State University. Since 1996, she had been the proud owner and operator of Nala Childcare & Learning Center in Guntown, MS. Mrs. Tasha touched the lives of all her students and staff. She became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Fall of 2020. Natasha was honored to be the recipient of the 2024 Guntown Citizen of the Year Recognition.
Natasha is preceded in death by her daughter, Janiya Armstrong Agnew, her father, Dr. Jimmie O. Agnew, her grandparents, Lee Wilson Agnew and Della Mae Davis Agnew, Leslie and Linnie Brown/Henry and Geneva Hudson.
