Lois Evelyn Price was born May 10, 1948, to the late Milton Billups and
Annie Warren. She departed this life Monday, February 6, 2023 at her home in
Baldwyn, MS.
Lois professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion M. B. Church,
where she remained until death. She was a member of the Caravan singing group
many years. She loved to sing, go shopping and spend time with her family. She was
a devoted mother, daughter and friend.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Kelvin Price (Lashey) of Tupelo, MS
and Michael Price (Alicia) of Booneville, MS; three brothers: Larry Billups, and
Tyrone Warren both Minnesota and Bobby Lane Billups of Chicago, IL; one sister,
Bestie Bee of Chicago, IL, (7) grandchildren: Schiquana Price of Nettleton, MS,
Deonte Lagrone (Alise) of Booneville, MS, Destini Montgomery of Tupelo, MD,
Tevin Price, Virginia Beach, Desmond Bell of Baldwyn, MS and Christian Price of
Booneville, MS; (10) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts,
uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Dena Price, granddaughter,
Alleyuah Price; two sisters, Mary Joann Billups and Lorraine Billups.
