Linda Pickens Brown was born January 4, 1953 in Pontotoc County to the late Joseph and Bernice Pickens.  She departed this life November 30, 2018 at her home in Tupelo, MS.  She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She was very much loved by her family and friends,  She was united in Holy wedlock to the late James Melvin Brown.

She leaves to mourn her passing; one daughter, Linda M. Brown; five sons James Merl Brown, Ellis Brown, Shandney Jermaine Brown, Clancey Trevio Brown Emanuel Brown; two sisters, Betty Pickens and Acristal Ann Pickens; six brothers, Joseph Pickens, Jr, Earnest Wayne Pickens, Sherry Pickens (Mary Ellen), Gentry Pickens, Danny Topps and Benny Pickens; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Allan Pickens and one sister, Lillie Mae Roberson.
