Lewis Lee Magary Smith was born March 20, 1936 in Harrisville, MS to the late Johnny Lee Smith and Tiny Jones Smith. He was the fourth of nine
children. He was formally educated and attended Harrisville Church School along with his siblings. Lewis later met and married Wilma Jean Gray Smith, and to this union, one child was born, a daughter, Regina Ann Smith, of Kenner LA. He also leaves to cherish his memory, sons: Gary Avery, Mendenhall, MS ,Marcus Avery, D'lo, MS, Louis Fletcher(Raven), Flowood, MS; nine Grandchildren, ten Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great grand son; three sisters: Betty Deloise Cameron (James) Braxton, MS, Virginia Durr(Jimmy) Magee, MS and Sharon Washington D'lo, MS; two sisters-in-law, Mary Alice and Ida Mae and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His parents, one son Christopher Danielle Bowen; one sister Maggie Lee Smith Barnes (Sandy), and five brothers: TJ (Oretha), AC (Ora D), Johnny ,Grady, and Donny Ray Smith all preceded him in death.
