John Wesley (Billy) Shinault was born May 14, 1935 in Prentiss County to the late Jesse and Cynthia Shinault.  He departed this ife Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS. He was a member of Wolf Creek M. B. Church in Booneville, MS.  He worked for many years for the Booneville Schools District.
He was married to Ruthie Mae Justice Shinault unto this union five children were born. Leada Rowan (William,), Melissa McMullen, Billie Brown (Marion), Teresa Young (Cornelius) and John Shinault nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
