John Ervin Bennett 76 passed away February 13, 2019 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born January 26, 1943 in Prentiss County to Elvesta and Pauline Bennett.  He was a member of Wolf Creek M. B. Church in Booneville, MS. he worked for 17 years  at Jesco in Tupelo, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  and one brother,  James Norman Bennett.

He was united in Holy Wedlock to Linda Scales Bennett.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Linda Bennett; six daughters, Sahara Bennett, Taura Bennett, Deidra Calamese, Vanessa Groves Davis,  Veronica Grice and Tania Gambel. three sons, Jacques Calamese, Tyrone Welch and Chris Barnett; four sisters, Fellicia Reed, Shulanda Bennett Jett, Vernessa Anderson, Mann and Margie Randall; three brothers, Sam Wicks, Alvin Bennett and Thomas Allen; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
