Jimmy Dale Tyes was born in Baldwyn, Mississippi to the late Pete Tyes and Alberta Mister Tyes. He departed this earthly life on Friday, January 16, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Judy Penrose Tyes and to this union they shared five (5) children. Jimmy Dale was a faithful member of Full Gospel Deliverance Center of Baldwyn, Mississippi, where he was a dedicated member and served faithfully on the Deacon Board and the Usher Board.

Jimmy Dale attended Baldwyn High School in Baldwyn, Mississippi, where he formed lasting friendships and memories that remained with him throughout his life.

Jimmy Dale was a devoted and hardworking employee of Super Sagless where he was employed for more than 40 years. His dedication, dependability, and strong work ethic were evident throughout his career.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete Tyes and Alberta Mister Tyes, his mother-in-law, Lula B. Penrose, sister-in-law, Bernadene Penrose, brother-in-law, James Penrose and Son-in-law, Wesley Shumpert.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife, Judy Penrose Tyes;  His daughters, Lavanda Crayton (Marcus), Nyesha Tyes, and Roshedria Shumpert; His sons, Rodrigus Tyes, and Jimmy D. Penro, Jr.; eight (8)  grandchildren; His siblings, Tommy Tyes (Peggy), Birt Hill (Jackie), Terry Tyes (Johnnie), Caroline Pierce (Andrew), all of Baldwyn, Mississippi; Bill Tyes and Judy Black (Kenny), of Tupelo, Mississippi and Willie Fred Tyes (Gina), of Pontotoc, Mississippi; his father-in-law, Jimmy Penrose (Alice); four (4) sisters-in-law, Acqunita Miller, Viola Penrose, Sandy Price and LouAnn Braxton; two (2) brothers-in-law, William Young and Jimmy Penrose, a host great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends
