Jason Shonta Bell was born on September 14, 1980, in Tupelo, MS to Eulander and Mickey Bell. He attended Sandhill M.B. Church. He resided in Baldwyn, MS until he was called home to be with the Heavenly Father.

Jason attended Baldwyn High School, and he was in the class of 2000. He played football and baseball during his time in school. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hanging out with his friends and family.Jason's greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by five sisters: Tena Trice of Booneville, MS, Jodda Elkins (Phil) of Baldwyn, MS, Regina Miller (Jeffery) of Baldwyn, MS, Mekia Brown of Tupelo, MS, and Veronica Nabors of Baldwyn, MS; and one brother Mark Bell (Phelisha) of Nashville, TN. His surviving aunts are Toy Barnett (Wilmer), and Ada Mae Bell; two uncles, Johnny Bell (Debra) and Clyde Jr., all of Baldwyn, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents Eulander and Mickey Bell, his grandparents Hettie Bell Stubbs, William Scales, Clyde and Susie Bell, and one brother Jerome Scales.
