James Lee Traylor was born in Lee County, MS on July 14, 1949 to the late James R. Traylor and Floria M. Traylor. James Lee Traylor, "Peter Rabbit" passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at AMG Medical Center in Batesville, MS surrounded by his family

James accepted Christ at an early age and joined Second Baptist Church in Verona, MS.

On April 20,1968 he married Ruby Nell Traylor and unto this union two children were born: Armetria and Terrell Traylor

He was a long time employee at Super Sagless of Tupelo, MS.

He was proceeded in death by his parents James and Flora Traylor; One brother, Jimmy Traylor one grandchild Zaccheous Traylor, One sister- in law Minnie Traylor, One nephew Darren Allen.

James leaves to cherish his memories 3 children; Travis Brinker, Armetria Traylor and Terrell Traylor, 4 Grandchildren; Porshia Traylor, Xavier Morris, Jermaine Brinker and Emmanuel Dillard, and a host of great grandchildren; (2) two sisters; Dora Traylor and Florine Parks both of Verona, MS; One (1) Brother William Traylor; Special Friends Harold Seals and A.Z Heard
