Emma Mae Williams affectionately known by her family as "Baby", was born on May 5,

1945, to the late Arrie and William Burress, Sr. in Baldwyn, MS. On Friday, May 16, 2025, God received his child Emma Mae unto eternal rest at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Emma accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and remained steadfast in her faith until her passing. She was united in holy matrimony for 63 years to Charlie C. Williams of Booneville, MS and from this beautiful union two children were born, Robert Junior Williams and Roy Scott Williams.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Thomas Wesley Shelley, Sr, Robert Fay Burress, William Frank Burress, Paul Wayne Burress, George Junior Burress (Helen), and her great granddaughter, Chaniqua "Cece" Pierce.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her dear husband, Charlie C. Williams, both of her sons: Robert Junior Williams (Angela) of New Albany, MS and Roy Scott Williams of Booneville, MS; seven grandchildren: Christy Pierce, Eleshia Pierce, Zack Williams, Robert Tyes (LaToya), Amber Fletcher (Corey), Mariah Williams, and LaQuisha Sampson, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
