Debra Ann Reed Warren was born on October 8, 1967, in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, to Charlie Reed and Laura Betts Beene. She peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center.

At an early age, Debra professed her faith in Christ and joined New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She graduated from Shannon High School in 1985.

Debra was a hardworking woman who found great joy in serving others. Throughout her life, she worked as a server in several restaurants, in the industrial field, and faithfully within the church. She was also known throughout her community as a gifted cosmetologist whose talents touched the lives of many.

Debra was a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a loving companion. She never met a stranger and was truly the life of every party. Her generous spirit was unmatched. She would gladly give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.

Debra loved shopping and had a natural eye for high fashion. She also enjoyed traveling and creating special memories with her family and friends. Her warm personality, joyful spirit, and genuine love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Debra leaves to cherish her precious memories her two children, Kawassi Reed and Jerissa Traylor; her devoted companion of more than 15 years, Wayne Rogers; her siblings, Vera Trice, Virginia Rucker, Diane Dabbs, Christie Rodgers, Georgia Reed, Valarie Reed, Teresa Goulding, Charles Reed, and Jimmy Reed; one granddaughter, Aydan Claire Scruggs; one great-grandson, Brayliyn Scruggs; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Reed and Laura Betts Beene; her stepfather, Earlie B. Beene; her sister, Jennifer Betts; and two brothers, Ray Reed and Larry Reed.

Debra’s beautiful spirit, vibrant smile, and loving presence will forever remain in the hearts
