Christine Sullivan transitioned June 9, 2021, at the home of her daughter surrounded by family. She was born March 18, 1926, to the late Will Young and Carrie Humphrey-Young. Mrs. Sullivan confessed hope in Christ at an early age. She loved singing church songs and listening to gospel music. She was giving and would help anyone. She enjoyed cooking, expressed deep love for her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed talking on the phone and being outdoors. She was loved by her community. She was an active member of the People's Community Baptist Church until her health began to fail her. Mrs. Sullivan worked at Mid-South Packing/Southern Bell Foods for many years, later working and retiring from Hardee's in Tupelo, MS.

Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her father Will Young and mother Carrie Humphrey-Young; husband Roger Sullivan; sons: Vincent Sullivan, Dennis Sullivan, Floyd Sullivan Sr. and Charles Young; granddaughter Monica Collier; great- great grandson Hayden Thomas; one brother Solomon; and six sisters: Clara, Anna, Earnestine, Opal, Willie and Ella Mae.

She leaves to cherish memories with her daughter Doris Janet Holland, Tupelo, MS; son John Lee Sullivan, Albuquerque, NM; granddaughters: Angela Young (Omar) Tupelo, MS and Tawana Dejean (Brian) Tupelo, MS; grandsons: Tony Collier (Cortni) British Columbia, Canada, Floyd Sullivan Jr, Khalif Brown, Aaquil Brown, Woodland Hills, CA, John Sullivan Jr, Albuquerque, NM, Robbie Lee Taylor, Lafayette, LA and Michael Sullivan, Tupelo, MS; a host of great grandchildren, great -great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special niece Frances Cobb.
