Charketa T. EcKford passed away from earthy labor to glorious
reward on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was born into the loving
home of her parents Charles W. Eckford and Cheryl G. Eckford in
Booneville, MS on March 29, 1987. She was proceeded in death by
her loving father, Charles Eckford.
Charketa confessed Christ at an early age. She was a devoted
mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a dedicated and
faithful employee at Maxx South for well over 10 years where she
served as a business representative. Charketa loved the simple life.
She was kind, generous and truly loved her family.
She will be sadly missed by many but more so by her loving
daughter, Ikea Eckford of Booneville, MS whom she loved dearly, a
loving mother Cheryl Eckford (Charles Heard) of Booneville, MS,
a loving brother Tarvares Ratliff (Wanda) of Victoria, MS, a loving
sister Tessica BoNey (Jacque) of Olive Branch, MS, grandmother
Essie Grizzard of Booneville, MS, God sister Lolitha Sorrell of
Booneville, MS, nephew Justice Floyd, God niece Swayze Sorrell,
God nephew Seyven Sorrell; special friends: TJ Hunkapiller,
Hunter Hunkapiller, Neah Friar, Veneshia Friar, Ginger
Lauderdale, Demont "Dee" Friar, Felicia Standifer and Madison
Martin; a host of loving Aunts, Uncles and Friends.
She was proceeded in death by her loving father, the late Charles W.
Eckford, Reverend James R. Eckford, Johnnie Mae Anderson
Eckford and Clifton Grizzard.
