Bernice Burress 86 died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Baldwyn, Nursing Facility.  She was born January 17, 1932 in Lee county unto the late Alex and Mattie McNutt. At an early age she joined Ebernezer M. B. Church in Guntown, MS.  She later moved her membership to Ruben Chapel C.M.E. Church. She was a very faithful member and served in many capacities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will T. Burress; parents Aex and Mattie McNutt; daughters, Mattie and Sarah Cayson; son. James Cayson;brother, Alex McNutt Jr.; sisters, Willie B. Gardner and Della McFadden.
She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Mary Tate, Rosie Cayson, Peggy Skinner, Beatrice Lowe, Lorene (John) Friar, Alice Starks, Bobbie (Rev. Mark) Williamson, and Stacy (John) Ivy, nineteen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 20 great- great  grandchildren.
