On July 12, 2025, at Batist Memorial Hospital-Desoto, God called Arthur
Thornton (aka Big A & Fat Daddy) into His resting arms. He began his life
on December 10, 1976. He was born to the late George Thornton, Jr. and
Dianne Thornton.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three children: Zacchaea Holsome of
Pontotoc, MS, Audrea Thonton and Arterio Thornton of Columbus, MS;
three sisters: Komega Thornton, Sara Thornton and Kimberly McKay
(Cornelius); two brothers, Quincy Thornton and James Holiday; several
uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
