Arthur Bernard
Foster
Dec 10, 1954 — Jan 13, 2026
Grand Rapids
Arthur Bernard Foster was born on December 10, 1954, in Shannon, MS to the late Q.P. and Annie Foster. Arthur departed this life on January 13, 2026, at his home.
On April 3rd, 1980, Arthur joined in holy matrimony to Amber McIntosh. From this union two children were born. Arthur spent many years working doing carpentry, plumbing, concrete pouring and gardening. He used these skills not only for work, but to help family, friends and neighbors whenever needed. He was kind-hearted, enjoyed having fun and was always joking and laughing with those around him. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Q.P. and Annie Foster; and two sisters, Annie Q. Pounds and Avery Lou Trice.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Amber McIntosh of Tupelo, MS; two daughters, Mikitra Thomas and Linda Arnold of Alton, Illinois; one son, Evan Foster of Tupelo, MS; two brothers, Luther (Robbie) Foster, Sr. and Ronnie Foster of Shannon, MS; three sisters: Tempie (Wardell) Goree of Shannon, MS, Malverta Thompson of Verona, MS and Wanda Waller of Wren, MS; one aunt, Luverta Foster of Shannon, MS; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; and special friends, Rev. Kelsey Trice and Wade Hardin.
